Enthusiastic tug-of-wars and vibrant traditional dances were only part of the exciting events at Treaty Days this year. 3NE was glad to support the local Treaty Days for the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation on June 16 and the Mikisew Cree First Nation on June 17 & 18.
People were able to stop by our tent to charge their smart phone with green electricity from our on-site solar panels. We also had displays in our tent covering everything from Fort Chip’s future with electric vehicles to the advantages of electric chainsaws.
We were happy that people were able to drop in for a chat about understanding electricity bills and how to reduce them. Handouts were available with details about all of the displays. Visitors were also able to see what a watt meter is and enter a draw to win one. We also offered draws for our stylish 3NE hats.
