Location

Located about 5 km north of Fort Chipewyan, the 3NE solar farm is accessible via Mcdermot Avenue. Close to the Fort Chipewyan airport and immediately adjacent to Atco’s Third Lake generating plant, the approximately 8 hectare solar farm site features sandy soil with a mixture of coniferous trees and small shrubs.
